This place was so good! I would definitely recommend for people just starting with Chinese food or are familiar with it. Food is also authentic and delicious!
Delicious and authentic cantonese food. The conch meat with chives, giant oyster with clear noodle and grouper with tofu dishes were exceptional. Service was prompt and professional. Just like the food here, the waiters/waitresses here are Cantonese and carried that style of service. Very good restaurant, highly recommended.
Our party of 6 came to the restaurant for dim sum on a rainy day. We knew it was an authentic restaurant as everyone was speaking Chinese, waiters and guests alike. The food was delicious, every one in the party loved it. Some of the dishes came out not as hot as I would have preferred. But we still like it as the flavors were great. They have a variety of Cantonese dishes and the food was done right. The cart ladies were a bit aggressive trying to sell food, just tell them what you want and tell them you've gotten enough food once you're done, and they will back off. They're not rude, just a bit too excited.
Authentic dim sum in NYC metro area. Reasonable price for most dishes (except the rice noodle roll with deep fried shrimp, too hard n dry). Need to wait for the table at peak hours on weekend (12:30ish), about 15mins for shared table (very common in authentic dim sum restaurant too) Dim Sum is served till 3pm ish
I visited Green Lake for the first time yesterday, The dim sum and was very authentically Cantonese and they had a very wide and tasty selection at very affordable prices. Service was great and the carts came around very quickly, I definitely would recommend it for a family gathering and sharing a great meal with them! The food was pretty great and I decided to take my family back for dinner. We ordered 6 items including a soup, vegetable, as well as all the dishes shown in the pictures. Great service, delicious food and just all around a great experience to share a deal with friends or family. If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend this place
Enjoyed dim sum on a Sunday morning and arrived 30 minutes after the restaurant opened. Dim sum was already in full effect and we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Once seated the army of carts did not disappoint. In addition to the carts of food we also ordered roast pork fried rice and beef pan fried noodle which was amazing! I highly recommend this spot and would absolutely return. If you want the dim sum experience get there when they open! The wait can be long.
Came for lunch for 2 and waited about 15-20 minutes for seats. There’s a podium on the right-side across from the counter to queue at to get on the waitlist for a table. We were seated at a shared table with 2 other duos, but were promptly served! If you’ve never been to dim sum, there are various carts that go around with varying dim sum dishes—from soups to desserts. They give you a piece of paper and stamp it each time you order a dish. We tried quite a few different dim sum dishes and they were all pretty good! The dessert items were definitely on the sweeter side. Wasn’t too fond of the taro cake. Good experience and mostly good dim sum dishes. The wait for a table was not too bad. Would recommend giving this restaurant a try if you’re looking for a good dim sum place. Would likely return in the future if I’m craving dim sum and in the area again.
One of the best Cantonese meals I have had in recent memory, every dish was a delight, flavorful, every element of each dish had flavor. Noodles and vegetables in each dish were nicely al dente with a little pop. Dishes not swimming in sauce which I so appreciated. And veggies - I'll repeat, perfectly prepared, on the edge of crispness, colorful and full of flavor. I hope to try again soon and hope for a similar dining experience. Many large round tables with lazy susans so great for large groups. The wait staff is efficient and very friendly. Delicious sweet orange slices and fortune cookies are provided with your check. I don't believe I tried the more popular menu items so I'm excited to try some additional dishes. We went for dinner, Dim Sum goes until 3pm and I would imagine it is excellent. So strike that, I'm not going for dinner next - maybe I will try Dim Sum - tomorrow!!
